The winter has long past, and the sun is currently teasing the shit out of our pale, sallow skin. But we’re close! So, so, very close. To long days and glorious sun 🙂
This month we traveled to the windy city and sold our wares at C2E2 in the Writer’s Block section of one of the baddest-ass comic cons in the country (see picture :)). We met kind, amazing, enthusiastic folk from all over the world, and laughed our bums off while sharing our books, greeting cards, shirts, hats, stickers and our brand new card game, Are You In? (The disturbingly hilarious game clinically proven to determine whether or not you and your partner are truly meant to be). The game is our newest creation (only 82 first-run copies were made) and due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews and purchases, we are planning a KickStarter campaign in the very near future for a pre-sale of our first official, large scale run. More details soon to come!
And finally, should you happen to be in the Black Hills area of South Dakota, we are super excited to be a part of the Black Hills Con this June 27th, 28th, and 29th. I am a huge fan of the area, and will be playing a healthy amount of blackjack in Deadwood (45 minutes south of the Rapid City) should you like to join in on the festive 4th of July fun.
These are crazy times indeed. The shit is definitely hitting the fan. And that means now, more than ever, we could use a little laugher and puns.
